You can tell I’m getting caught up on the blog now..I’m going to start talking about details of weddings now and times we can remember while they are still fresh in the mind. August 15th. This was the only wedding we shot in the month of August..which is usually a slow month for us. It can be so hot in Virginia in August, the weddings get a little slower. This is okay, gives me time to get caught up on albums and prepare for the September storm that always hits us (of weddings). On this day I (Daniel here) had the wonderful pleasure of working with Jillian and Andrew. Every once in a while you get a couple that can really work it. Then they take it to the next level by throwing in a Theme for their day of a 30’s style wedding. This one will stay in my head for a long, long time.
Macee and Megan were my assistants. We started the day out at the Hilton Garden in at Southpark, the ceremony was held at the historic Gilfield Baptist Church in Petersburg. This Church was built in 1797..a rather old one. Then they held their reception to follow at the Fort Lee officers Club. We had so much fun taking photos after the ceremony, I have never been more worn out. It was so worth it though. So do I dare say…was this the best wedding ever?
